Pudding on a show

Today I gave smith my favorite prego treat, chocolate pudding. Brandon teased me today about being the person who consumes the most chocolate pudding in the world... well now you can see im not the only one in the house who loves it! He also loved to show off his best messy monster face

One day I will get a pic that shows all of me when I am not taking the picture myself on my webcam... but for now I wanted to display my huge tummy for the world to see. Smith calls it babi and gives it lots of hugs and kisses. I feel like a huge tub of play dough right now because my hands and ankles are so swollen I can mold shapes into them, but I know that soon enough my life will change forever and I will have a new little baby to add that much more joy to my life. I had to document this belly cause I took a picture almost every month of my last pregnancy, and feel guilty I haven't done the same this time. 

Don't you just love how pointy it is?? 

A much needed get away!

KCs dad called us on our anniversary and offered to give us his free 2 night stay at the Zermatt resort in midway. Within an hour we were packed and out the door! Any opportunity to get away was very welcome! We really needed it. 

Halfway up the canyon (while taking this picture of Smith covered in granola bar) I realized I only had a tiny bit of battery left in my camera, so I waited to take any pictures until I could get one of Smith on the carousel... he was terrified of it and clinged on to KC the whole time. He wouldn't even consider sitting on one of those scary plastic animals with the frilly saddles :) 

The goats were so funny. One chomped Smiths finger pretty good, but he sure loved them!

You would think we would have gotten one picture of just KC and I on our anniversary... 

Happy Anniversary!

I am so thankful for my husband and for the relationship we have. Its really amazing to look back and see all we have accomplished in just 3 short years. Every day gets better and better. What would I do without this man???

Do I do anything besides take pictures you ask???

not really. These days there are so many things to take pictures of. I love the summer time, and hey, the more I am behind the camera, the less I am in front of it!

I forgot to post these cute pictures from when Hillary and her kids came again to spend a week with us. I could totally live with my sister. She is so fun to be around, not to mention has the most well behaved kids I have ever known. (Sorry I didnt get any of little Tyler)

In the morning we went to Daybreak to visit the Starks and play on the beach

FOUND: BOP THE BIRD

Yesterday KC and Smith were out on their run when KC came across a pigeon. He kept on running but later when Jack and Tyler (my sisters kids) found out he had seen it,  they talked him into going back and catching the poor lost bird. Jack comes walking in the house clutching this pigeon in his hands yelling "look what we got!" So for now, this poor thing is living in my window well, and eating flax seed cereal while we wait for an owner to claim him. We know he is a pet because he is tame, and has a tag around his ankle. 

Smith calls him BOP. so thats his name for now. Anyone want a pigeon? PLEASE TAKE HIM!

an adventurous week

Today Smith did a face plant off the porch and this was the result. He was sitting right next to me with a popsicle and next thing I knew he was on his face with a broken popsicle.

We went on a really fun hike up AF canyon and enjoyed the beautiful green mountains. Thanks to the rain here, things are greener than normal! LOVE IT! 

Its so nice being able to spend some extra time with KC. We love having him around!

KCs un-birthday

For KCs 30th birthday in December I didn't really get him anything because he was going to plan a baseball trip with his friends and go have a boys weekend as his gift from me (what a sacrifice I made huh...) anyway, six months later he finally got that trip. Him and some friends went to Colorado to see the Rockies and hang out. I let him take my camera so he could get some shots with the telephoto... I had some fun editing...
