I frequently get asked "how far apart are they?" and when I respond "17 months" I almost always get a look of shock. Is it really that un-common? I swear I know so many people who have their kids even closer together. ?? I have thought a lot about wether I would do it again, knowing how crazy life would get sometimes... and then I have days like yesterday. They.were.inseparable! They love each-other so much. Sure they have their moments, but for the most part they are just the best of buds, and I just know they will be that way for the rest of their lives. They are polar opposites (looks and personality) which actually helps them play together in better harmony.
So YES I would do it again. over and over and over again. I love the bond they have. I love that they share clothes. I love that they LOVE each other. Yes, I would do it again...
but not for a few more months. :)
I LOVE YOU...
Smith, I love your big grey eyes. I ADORE your teeth. all spaced apart and pointy. I love your squeaky voice. I LOVE your curiosity. I love your smarts, and I love your not-so-smarts. I love your sweetness, your quietness, your ability to imagine the day away. I love that you LOVE to sleep. I love that at 2 years old you weaned yourself ON to a binky. I love how much you love your daddy, and adventures. I love you when you cry, I love you when you stink... I just LOVE my little Smitty.
and oh Miles how I love you too! That curly brown mop, your hilarious sense of humor. I love that I can make you laugh with just a look. I love your almond eyes and Buddha belly. I love your happy go lucky attitude. Your CONSTANT babble, your CONSTANT questions. I love how much you look up to your brother, and how willing you are to do anything to please him. and annoy him. I cant wait to see you play sports. I love your stubborn attitude. Your WILL POWER. Your drive to keep up with the big kids.
I love your lisp, and the way you say "sunshine" you are mischievous, and daring, and I look forward to the trouble you will cause.
I even love your dirty toes on my white couch...
