For Memorial day we went out to the Heber Valley Railroad where "Thomas the Train" came for a visit. (I can just hear Ringo Starr in my head, narrating this blog)
Smith gave his train ticket to the cute old man conductor, and we headed off on a great adventure!

(I loved this old man. I thought he looked like he belonged in a cartoon.)

Then we went to some of the activities, including bubbles...
tattoos

and play trains!

He even got his very own Thomas the Train camera so he could take pictures of mom taking pictures!

We went to Cafe Rio for lunch (which seems to be the place we eat any time we go out)
Miles thoroughly enjoyed it...

Smith, as usual, did not eat a thing
It was such a fun day! We also took an hour nap (everyone but Smith) and then Painted the bedroom, and fixed the sprinklers and played in the yard in the warm sun (perfect weather!!)
It was the kind of day I wish I could have everyday!

pudding anyone?

I try every day to do something artsy or crafty with the kids, so the other day I thought I would give them a little more variety, something other than markers and crayons... so I tried finger painting with pudding! It was a huge success! They loved it. It quickly turned into body painting which was even more fun, and then tongue painting :)

"hold him?"

Smith has been asking to hold Miles a lot lately... I thought it was a sweet thing until I realized he is holding him so that he can tackle and pin him. Its so funny to watch, but im too busy making sure Miles doesn't get crushed to take a picture of it, so you get to see the sweet part. Smith says in the cutest little high pitched voice... "hold him??"

I love having two boys. I love having boys. period. We had a great week in the warm weather. The boys LOVE their new sand box and swinging in the hammock. Summer is going to be a blast this year! I just cant wait!!

Have you laughed today?

This made my day. I could hear him through the glass saying "mmmmmlllllahhhhmmmm" I already sense that Miles has quite the sense of humor. He always laughs at Smith, and thinks its hilarious when I chase him on my hands and knees. Dont you just want to kiss this snotty slobber face?
