Birthday preview...

I had to make Smith's birthday invitations today so we did a little photo shoot. He was so excited to get outside! Hopefully I will be able to do a more exciting photo shoot soon when I have daddy to help :)

is it weird...?

That we cant find a house? Its supposed to be the "best time to buy" right now and we thought selling would be the hard part! As most of you know we put our house on the market and sold it in less than a month which is totally unheard of these days, so we thought maybe we were supposed to hurry and move and that a new house would be just waiting for us to move in... well, we were wrong. I feel guilty even whining about it because it really is such a blessing that we are able to live in my parents house and save money and we have been blessed in every aspect of our lives. So for those of you who are going to just roll your eyes and say, "oh Hannah, you have it sooo easy, count your blessings", just pretend you never read this. Everyone has a right to vent once in a while right? ha ha.  Living out of boxes and not having a space to call your own really takes its toll after a while. Smith even acts unsettled here! Maybe its time to just unpack and set up the crib, and accept that we are in this for the long haul! waaaa waaa waaa. I know...

Passport mugshot

We are heading to Mexico in April and I just found out that we now have to get a passport for Smith! Its so funny for me to think he will have his own little passport. I was laughing pretty hard today as he posed for his mugshot. It was nearly impossible to get him to hold still and turn his head how I needed it. What do you think of Smith's first passport photo?

At least I have bambi to keep me company

I may not get a lot of human visitors in this house but I do get my share of animal visitors. This morning there was a huge blue jay out my window, and this evening as I was doing dishes I glanced up and locked eyes with this enormous beast in my back yard. It scared me half to death, but once I realized what I was looking at I grabbed my camera and made bambi famous again.

Wild child

today Smith found a colored pencil and did a little artwork
Bath time here means filling a tupperware box with water in the shower. Smith doesnt know the difference... He just loves his baths!
Hanging on my leg... as usual.
