surgery success!

Smith had tubes put into his little ears today, and despite how much I stressed about it, you would have thought he went to disney land! He got toys from the doctors, and went on a little adventure in the la la land of anesthetics (which must have had something to do with fat zebras, because thats all he talked about the whole ride home from the hospital) and came back to us in the waiting room like nothing had happened. He just wanted juice, and the pulse monitor untaped from his toe right away. He spent the rest of the day running around the house and being his normal maniac self. I wanted to keep that little mini hospital gown so bad. I would make him wear it daily...

seriously, could he be any more wonderful??
Im so glad everything went well, and we can hopefully be done with the ear infections!

lazy and crazy days...

I love warm weather. I was made for it. There is nothing better than hanging out in the backyard with my kids watching all the funny things they do, not worrying about the mess, catching some rays, and just being warm and comfortable (I hate hate hate cold with a passion)
and if the kids are outside, THIS wont happen...

KC's keyboard and computer chair, after Smith used a silver sharpie to decorate them. (keep in mind this was AFTER I had cleaned off most of it and calmed down a bit)

so outside he went...
to play with some prehistoric friends

and some real ones... (Teague)
and so I could show him what we are ALLOWED to color...
(he has an obsession with lining up his toys)
and warm weather wouldnt be complete without a lawn flamingo right?
and of course Miles is enjoying the warm weather too! (what doesnt he enjoy?)
sure enough, that big string of drool did land on my lens.

super baby!

Miles learned to crawl this week! Such a big boy!!
unfortunatly Smith sees someone crawling and assumes he can jump on!
but really, you think it makes him upset? not this kid... he just keeps on smiling

I'll eat you up!

The terrible twos aren't sooo terrible... just a little bit :) underneath all the whining, the stomping, the throw himself on the floor and fake crying, and the getting two inches from Mile's face and screaming at the top of his lungs just to see Miles melt down...ing... underneath all of that, is the sweetest, smartest, kindest, funniest, most sensitive, beautiful little boy the world has ever known. Nothing melts my heart like when he climbs into my lap and says "hold you mom" or when he laughs at his baby brother and gets him laughing back. The two laugh so hard together sometimes I could swear they are communicating about something hilarious. I just love this little man. especially in a suit :)
