The coolest kid ever

I cant help myself... I have to brag about my kid again. Isn't he just the coolest little guy in the world! I took these today despite his fever of 101 and a stuffy nose he still manages to be a crack up! I am having fun with this retro style lately...

dont mind a little extra Cache

I have been tending the kids on and off this week and was able to babysit Cache for 2 days! It was so fun playing twinners! I even took them to Church today to see what it would be like to take twins to church. I lasted about 30 min. (I would have been ok with KC there) When I was getting them ready to go I decided that it was my way of proving to Heavenly Father that I could handle twins. BRING IT ON!!

Tradition to be continued??

Every year over the 24th of July my extended family meets up in a place they call Joes Valley. For the past 6 years I have been unable to go, so this year KC and I headed out to our family reunion not knowing what to expect. It turned out that I didn't remember the way at all, and so we got lost on a dirt road for about 2 hours looking for "Joes Valley" because its really called "indian creek" then we found "joes valley" so we paid $10.00 to get into the campground only to realize it wasn't the right campground. After many prayers we spotted my brother-in-law who had been sent out to find us and lead us back to camp. We enjoyed the night, and the next day KC headed out on what was supposed to be a 1 hour 4-wheeling adventure. It turned out to be about a 5 hour nightmare with my uncle John being life flighted to the hospital after crashing on the 4-wheeler and breaking his clavicle, 5 ribs, and puncturing a lung.
By the time KC made it back to camp it was hailing like crazy so we cleaned up our stuff and when the hail stopped it was time to head home again so that KC could catch his flight the next morning. What an adventure!

I had fun taking pictures of the kids and enjoying the sunshine while KC was 4-wheeling...
the boys had so much fun at the races

Hillary had fun cheering them on! (sorry I didnt get the picture of Hillary and I racing... I won.)

Tyler took second place in his age group

Smith just hung out in his ninja turtle, spider man crib

and used his big blue eyes to get whatever he wanted the whole trip

Heres my little army dude with his favorite babysitter Jada

Tyler had his moments...

beautiful Jada!

hillarious Carter

and Brandon wins the prize for "Mr. To the rescue" this trip for helping kids with their ouchies, helping us find camp, and rushing off with all his gear when he heard about Johns accident...

TWO YEARS!

KC and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary this month (13th). We left Smith for the first time with his grandma Laura (thanks Laura!) and took advantage of our $50.00 dollar gift certificate to Market Street that we have had forever and haven't had a chance to use (Thanks Dave). It was strange being alone together without Smith, but we had lots of fun talking about the differences between a couples first date and a two year anniversary.

On your first date you hold in all of your farts. On your anniversary date, you hope the table next to you didn't hear how loud it was.

On your first date you tell all of your best jokes. On your anniversary date she has heard all of your best jokes (you realize you better come up with some new ones).

On your first date you give a huge tip to the Waiter and hope she sees it.On your anniversary date you pull out the family budget to see how much you can afford to tip this month.

On your first date you tell her all bout yourself. On your anniversary date you talk all about your kids.

On your first date you politely swallow the disgusting piece of fat you just accidentally put in your mouth. On your anniversary date you spit it in your napkin and show it to her.

On your first date you wonder if you could marry this person. On your anniversary date you are so happy you did!!!

please feel free to comment about the differences of your first date and your anniversary date!

double vision...

Today I have been watching my sisters kids and getting a little insight on what it would be like to raise twins. My mother-in-law must have been super mom, because although it is fun for a day or two, It wouldn't be very easy as a full time job...
can you guess who is who??

mine is the green drooly one on the left...

Jada and Carter were a great help. It hasn't changed my mind about wanting twins yet... I REALLY do want twins BAD!!

NO 4TH FOURTH OF JULY PICS?

I am so disappointed with myself as a mother! I underestimated my little Smitty and thought for sure he would be terrified of the fireworks on the 4th, so I decided to not worry about taking my camera cause I didn't want to lug around a screaming baby and worry about taking pictures. I was soooo wrong. He Loved the fireworks and his late bed time, and I didn't have a camera to capture one of the cutest moments in my boy's life so far!!! He stared in awe at them like he does when he watches baby einstein movies.
So, we had a great fourth, but can share it with you! Here are some pictures of us on the 3rd of July when we took Smith for a little dip in the lazy river in down town st. george. Isnt he getting so big?!

he loves to stand and show off his whiteness...

Fun in the sun!

Its 108 here in St. George! KC is hiking Havasupi, and I am here visiting my sisters and their cute kids. Its been so much fun! Here is what we are up to:

we always love going to Sand Hollow (the boys got to see their daddy at work, and he took us out on the cart for a little adventure!

Mom and Dad rode with Steve and Kathy to Havasupi on their motercycles in 105 degree heat. I think they are crazy, but soooo cute on their bikes.
