These are the moments...

Today I reaffirmed in myself that I absolutely undoubtedly LOVE my job. I'm not talking about my job as a photographer (because we all know how motivated Ive been in that area lately) but I'm talking about my eternal purpose, and job as a MOTHER!!

I have never had such a rewarding feeling as I do when I experience moments... like I did today... when the earth stands still. I look into these little eyes, and I can FEEL the saviors love. I KNOW we have an eternal purpose. I cant even begin to describe the love I have for these little ones.

and the feeling I get when I think about who they will become, or what amazing purposes they have.

I got a little teary eyed when I was taking these pictures. Thinking about how much I love these little faces. And how much more I will love them as time goes on...

4th of July continued...

nothing excites Smith more than a river full of rocks. We went back up the canyon on Monday to Tibble Fork and Smith threw rocks into the water for hours. I love seeing the three of them together. Its like this surreal moment for me. Im so grateful!!

we drove home to an awesome sunset. which for me, tops a fireworks show. I love watching the sunset.

we also did some swimming that weekend in KC's Aunt Kathys pool (yes, you better bet we were exhausted after the holiday was over)
and enjoyed visiting with his family

Smith had to sport his Moms awesome D.I. find, 80's hot shorts, at least once this summer. poor kid didnt even know how snazzy he looked.

4th of July!

We went camping over 4th of July weekend with our friends the VanOrmans who were nice enough to invite us to their campsite and share their smores :) I have been dying to go camping for months now, and it was so much fun! This is the cute VanOrman family
dont mind the make-up-less-ness, but here is my cute family it was absolutely beautiful up AF canyon all weekend. I love living so close to the canyon. I am no Adam Barker, but I had to snap a few pictures of our beautiful surroundings

Here is the little "morning person" of the family. Smith and Dad slept in while I was up with Miles at the crack of dawn and had to walk him around and take him away from all the sleeping campers so he wouldnt wake them up with his "whats that??" commentary.dont you just love those baggy sleepy eyes?a mommy couldnt be more in love even if it does mean no sleep. (I passed him off to KC after an hour and had him take his turn pacing the campgroud)
