surgery success!

Smith had tubes put into his little ears today, and despite how much I stressed about it, you would have thought he went to disney land! He got toys from the doctors, and went on a little adventure in the la la land of anesthetics (which must have had something to do with fat zebras, because thats all he talked about the whole ride home from the hospital) and came back to us in the waiting room like nothing had happened. He just wanted juice, and the pulse monitor untaped from his toe right away. He spent the rest of the day running around the house and being his normal maniac self. I wanted to keep that little mini hospital gown so bad. I would make him wear it daily...

seriously, could he be any more wonderful??
Im so glad everything went well, and we can hopefully be done with the ear infections!

I'm so glad everything went well. Surgery is way more traumatic for the mom than it is for the kid. Indie got tubes almost two years ago and they grew out and she started getting ear infections again. We just found out on Monday that she has to go get them again.

I had tubes in my ears like 4 times when I was little. My pictures from the hospital aren't quite as calm and nice as Smith's! What a brave little boy!

Way to go Smith!! he is so brave!and darling- LOVE that hospital gown too. He had much more fun than Miles did Im sure. Did you ever get Miles arm back in the socket? hehe... Jk I was real careful. Im so happy Miles is doing good with the tubes and pray he gets well from his New cold soon.
